Nkem Owoh breaks silence on daughter’s demise

Veteran Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh, has finally broken his silence on the death of his daughter, Kosisochukwu, who passed away in June following a brief illness.

In a statement released on his Instagram page on Monday, August 29, Owoh expressed gratitude to those who had sent him condolence messages and shown him love during his time of grief.

“I want to thank you all for the support and love shown to me and my family,” he said. “When tragedy strikes, there is nothing more heartening than knowing that you’re not alone.”

Owoh went on to say that the loss of his daughter was a change he wasn’t prepared for.

“We have seen many changes over the years,” he said. “But this is a change I did not anticipate and I am feeling an acute sense of loss.”

However, Owoh said that he knew he would get through this difficult time with the help and encouragement of his loved ones.

“Thank you for helping to push me through my grief,” he said.

Owoh’s daughter, Kosisochukwu, was 24 years old.
