Obi of Onitsha most respected monarch in Africa – Stanel boss, Uzochukwu

The Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe (CFR), has been referred to as the most brilliant, First Class, charismatic, inventive, and pragmatic monarch to rule on Nigerian land by Stanel Group CEO Dr. Stanley Uzochukwu.

This is according to a statement he signed and made available to journalists in Abuja on Monday, Uzochukwu praised the supreme monarch and congratulated the Monarch on the enormous success of the recently finished 2023 edition of the Ofala Festival of the Onitsha Kingdom.

Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe CFR mni, my father, His Royal Majesty, and the entire population of Onitsha Kingdom are all to be congratulated on the enormous success of this year’s Ofala Festival, according to the statement.

“Without a question, Igwe Achebe is the most intelligent, charming, pragmatic, creative, and empathetic monarch we have in Africa.

“I am one of the many young Nigerians who have benefited from the wonderful guidance and leadership of the king, who has made remarkable contributions to both traditional and academic institutions around the world”.

Onitsha Kingdom is really fortunate to have a Royal Father who has served and is still serving in more than 50 important public and private institutions and establishments as board/trustee chairman, member, and in other roles.

“The Majesty has distinguished himself among his equals thanks to the application of contemporary management and leadership principles to traditional governance, as well as the steady evolution of the culture of the Kingdom’s citizens in general and the Anambra traditional system in particular. I am especially proud of this accomplishment. The change is a crystal-clear demonstration of outstanding leadership.

“I join other distinguished Anambra State citizens in praising Igwe for sustaining the long-standing custom and cultural legacy of the former Onitsha Kingdom.

“I thus ask God to give the Igwe many more years of good health so that he might continue to rule in grandeur”.

The Better, Stronger, and Together theme of the 2023 Ofala Festival, which took place between October 14 and 15, highlighted the rich cultural history of the Onitsha people.
