Omare Congratulates Pere S.P. Luke Kalanama VIII on 60th Birthday

Prominent legal practitioner Eric Omare (PhD) has extended warm felicitations to His Royal Majesty Pere S.P. Luke Kalanama VIII, the Traditional Ruler of the Ancient Akugbene Mein Kingdom and Second Vice Chairman of the Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers, on the occasion of the monarch’s 60th birthday.

In a goodwill message issued on Wednesday on behalf of himself and his family, Omare described the revered monarch as a symbol of wisdom, unity, justice, and cultural pride, whose reign has brought peace, stability, and progress to the Akugbene Mein Kingdom and Niger Delta region.

He commended the royal father’s decades of dedicated service to the people of Akugbene Mein Kingdom, the Ijaw nation, and Delta State, noting that his leadership has strengthened the kingdom’s honour and influence.

Omare prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the monarch, asking for sound health, long life, and divine wisdom to enable him to continue leading his people with peace, prosperity, and distinction.

He concluded the tribute with prayers for the continued progress of the Akugbene Mein Kingdom and Delta State, while wishing the monarch many more fruitful years on the throne.

“Long live the King. Long live Akugbene Mein Kingdom. Long live Delta State,” the statement concluded.
