Pa Edwin Clark, convener of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, has urged the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to arrest Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike for threatening peace in Rivers State and beyond.

Clark described Wike’s utterances as treasonable and a breach of the Constitution, citing his threat to “set fire” in states governed by PDP governors. He emphasized that no individual has the right to threaten public peace and should be treated with kid gloves.

The elder statesman noted that Wike’s actions violate public laws and constitute a form of treason, inciting supporters to rise against constituted authority. Clark reminded the IGP of his oath to uphold the law and urged him to issue an arrest warrant for Wike.

He also highlighted Wike’s history of disobeying Supreme Court judgments and his alleged accumulation of state resources, calling for accountability and an end to his “macabre dance.” Clark commended the PDP Governors Forum for their support of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and urged PDP leaders and Rivers State indigenes to defend their party and state against Wike’s ambitions.
