Pastor divorces wife as herbalist dies on top of her during sex romp

Pastor Joshua Ajagunigbala has filed for divorce seeking for separation from his wife at Ekiti state customary court following the death of an herbalist in a sex romp.

Pastor Joshua and Pastor Mrs Rita 22 years marriage hit the rock after Mrs Rita was alleged to slept with a herbalist.

The 22years old union collapsed in Ekiti state after a herbalist identified as Ifidayomi died on top of her during sex romp in a hotel.

Pastor Joshua seek for divorce from his wife on the ground of adultery.

It was reported that during the court hearing, pastor Joshua asked the court to dismantle his marriage with his wife on the ground of adultery and the custody of his children be given to him.

Pastor Joshua told the court that he had not paid the dowry of his wife, but they had lived for more than 22years with kids.

On 2nd January, 2023, it was alleged that Mrs Rita and the herbalist were having sexual intercourse in a hotel at Ikere Ekiti, which the herbalist died during the action.

Pastor Joshua stated that the incident led to commotion and made hoodlums to destroy his house and church at Ikere, and this led to his suspension by the church authorities.

However, in response, Mrs Rita Ajagunigbala admitted having sexual affairs with the late herbalist.

She said that the reason for having sexual affairs with the herbalist was because of lack of care from the pastor.

The court however ruled that their marriage was illegal because payment of dowry was not involved in the union as such, there was no marriage to dissolve.
