PDP Congress: Pastor Akemotubo Elected As Auditor In Delta

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) State Congress held on Saturday, August 31st, at the Cenotaph in Asaba, Pastor Arex Ambrose Akemotubo, the Managing Director/CEO of Waffi TV, a fast-rising TV station in Delta State, who hailed from Ogbe-Ijoh in Warri South-West LGA, emerged as the new Auditor of the PDP Delta State chapter.

Pastor Akemotubo, running unopposed, garnered 3,149 out of 3,153 votes cast, with only four votes declared void. His near-unanimous election reflects a broad consensus among party members and signals strong confidence in his leadership abilities.

Regarding his dedication and track record of service within the party, Pastor Akemotubo’s election is seen as a strategic move to ensure robust financial oversight and transparency within the Delta State chapter of the PDP.

Party officials and members had expressed confidence that Pastor Akemotubo will bring accountability and efficiency to his new role, strengthening the party’s position ahead of future elections.
