Two suspects, Ekele Sunday, 28 and Yakubu Abdurrahman, 28, have been nabbed by men of the Lagos Rapid Response Squad (RRS) for stealing of motorcycle owned by a logistics company, based in Lagos.

According to the report, one of the alleged is a dispatcher with a Lagos-based logistics company, who conspired with his friend to sell the motorcycle which belongs to the company he’s working with.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos Force Public Relation Officer, affirmed their arrest and noted that the motorcycle had been retrieved from the suspects.

Benjamin stressed that the suspects were apprehended based on legit information received by RRS operatives.

However, the two alleged thieves are to face prosecution in Ogba Magistrate Court, Agege Area of Lagos State.

Benjamin Hundeyin wrote on his Twitter page; “Investigations revealed that Ekele, after a month of working with the company, connived with Abdurrahman to dispose of the motorcycle, which was procured a few days before he was employed.

“The three suspects, on sighting the police, took to their heels. Ekele and Abdurrahman were arrested, while the third suspect who escaped is still being trailed,” Hundeyin added.
