Police arraign Church officials over child brutality in Delta

The Police of Warri Area Command have arraigned two security guards of Word Of Life Bible Church over assault and brutality of 12yerars master Mejiro Ukusare.

The suspects were arrested on 18th November, 2021 upon complaints by the family of the child.

The child was beaten to coma, as brushes and major injuries were found all over the body of the child.

The Church officials alleged that he was caught stealing a phone belonging to a member of the Church, hence he was beaten.

However, presently the child is suffering from paralysis as he could not move his rights leg and hands.

The police have arraigned the two suspects with five-count charge, promised to arrest others at large to face justice.
