Police Arrest Native Doctor, Alcalamudo for extorting late Alex Ebah’s family

Police Operatives of Delta State have arrested a Native Doctor Alexander Okpako, popularly known as Alcalamudo for extorting late Alex Ebah’s family on Tuesday.
This is according to a chart with the family’s lawyer, Omemiroro Ogedegbe Esq who had earlier requsted through a petition to the police, demanding for his arrest.
The source said he was trailed to his home after the police had okay the family’s complaint of extortion and threats against him.
According to the source, “On September 5,2023 at the request of human rights attorney Omemiroro Ogedegbe Esquire, the police in Delta State detained Alexander Okpako, also known as Acalamudo.
“It was well known that upon the passing of the late Alex Ebah of the Umeh family from the Isoko South local government area of Delta State on July 12, 2023, few days after his passing on, Mr. Alexander got in touch with the wife and claimed to be an occultist and said he was responsible for her husband’s passing on.
“The deceased Hon. Alex Ebah’s wife was also informed by the aforementioned Native doctor that her husband passed away as a result of the curse he had cast on him. His shrine located at Agbarho and that all the children of the demise must die alongside those who took the remains of the demise to the morgue.
Acalamudo allegedly threatened the family by calling the president general of the community, and also told him, he was responsible for the death of the late Alex Ebah, adding that the family must see him before his demise is buried.
It was gathered that the family sent a delegation to the said Native doctor in July 2023, where he again re-emphasised his position, adding that the family is his meat and must die if they burry the man in his absence.
He also said the family should pay money to appease the gods. He requested that the sum of N23 million be paid before the burial of the late Alex Ebah to avoid other deaths in the family.
