Pondi urges security agents to fish out killers of business woman

The member representing Burutu Federal constituency, Hon. Julius Pondi has strongly condemned the killing of one Mrs Ebikaboere Oyas Officer, a business woman by suspected gunmen in Delta State.

Congress reported earlier that Mrs Officer a native of Tamigbe comment in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta state was kidnapped at her hometown on June 28, 2023.

It was learned that the abductors received a ransom of One Million Naira upon demand but later murdered the said lady and escaped.

Speaking to newsmen on the ugly development, Pondi charged security operatives to ensure that the killers of the deceased business woman are arrested and brought to justice.

He said “I curse those killers. The action was barbaric and I condemn it in its entirety.

“With all urgency, security agents should swing into action by bringing the perpetrators to book. Nobody or group of persons should have the monopoly to kill a law abiding citizen and be walking freely.

“I Condemn this evil act in its entirety. It shall never be well with the killers” Pondi reacted.

Recall, Mrs Officer was the wife of the Ward Vice chairman of PDP in ward Two, Tamigbe, Burutu Local Government Area.
