Enumerating his achievements, President Bola Tinubu has stated that he should be included in the Guinness World Records.

During his eight years as governor, Tinubu claimed to have turned Lagos State’s economy from zero to the fifth largest in Africa.

During his speech at Berlin’s 10th German-Nigerian Business Forum, Tinubu declared that he would try to get his name added to the Guinness World Records.

The president also revealed that Nigerians voted for him because of the reforms he had started.

Tinubu asserted: “For those who are afraid of different challenges, consider me; I’m from the private sector, and I’m one of you; I was trained by Deloitte. I worked as the Exxon Mobil treasurer. If you can define corporate governance in any way, I fit the bill.

“Today, I can proudly beat my chest that Lagos State is on the horizon and the fifth-largest economy in Africa, rising from zero. This is the track record that led me to the office of president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Nigeria voted for me for reforms, and from day one of my inauguration, I started the reforms. To me, if you didn’t mention me in the Guinness Book of Records, I’d thrive to find a way to insert myself because I did it without expectation, my inaugural speech disclosed what I would do.”
