Marcus Rashford is very unlikely to make it to Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final first leg against Sevilla.

Manchester United football player Marcus Rashford would miss their first leg Europa League encounter against Sevilla due to a muscle injury.

The forward player came off in the 80th minute of Saturday’s 2-0 premier league win over Everton at Old Trafford.

His absence would be a big blow to the Red Devils given his red-hot form this season.

Manchester United suffered a major injury blow ahead of their Europa League clash with Sevilla.

United play host to the Andalucians in their quarter-final first leg in midweek with top scorer Marcus Rashford potentially set to miss out.

Rashford has been in sensational form for United this season, with 28 goals across all competitions, but he was forced off in the closing stages of their 2-0 Premier League win over Everton.

There is hope for Rashford’s return for important games in the final weeks of the season.
