Reps 2023: Kaladappa Jumbo emerges ADC Degema/Bonny federal Constituency candidate

The Deputy Speaker of IYC 5th Mobile Parliament Rt. Hon. Engr. Irene Kaladappa Jumbo has emerged the winner of African Democratic Congress (ADC) House of Representatives Candidate for Degema/Bonny federal Constituency in the party’s primaries election which was held in Degema the headquarters of the federal constituency in Rivers State.

The returning officer for the primaries, Alabo Luckyman Egila declared Engr. Irene Kaladappa Jumbo winner after polling the total number of 92 votes.

Speaking shortly after the primaries, she thanked the party leadership and the delegates for voting for her and she promised to push until she wins in the general election come 2023.

Rt. Hon. Irene Kaladappa Jumbo told Congress news correspondent that with the help of God and the support from the party and electorates she will win the election come 2023.

Kaladappa, who assured the Degema/Bonny people that she would change the narratives from what it used to be, equally outlined programmes which include Youths and Women Empowerment, Constituency Development and security on the waterways among many others.

The highlight of the primaries was the declaration of the winner of the House of Representatives election by the returning officer, and it was witnessed by the Degema and Bonny LGA party Chairmen, and members of the party.
