Massive turnout as Hon. Asupa Foreta and the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP stormed Unit 8 in ward 7, in Ayakoromo community for Thank-you visit following the upcoming Delta State House of Assembly re-run election in some political units in Burutu north constituency.
The team was led by Chief Julius Takeme, Chairman PDP, Delta South Senatorial District. He said that the party had visited the unit to appreciate the ward 7 Ayakoromo people for their unwavering support during the recently concluded election and also to celebrate the new year with them.
Meanwhile, Chief Dr. Julius Takeme earlier informed Ayakoromo people to be ready as the party would come back for campaign for the re-run.
However, Ayakoromo people in their response. Thank PDP for the infrastructural development the party had attracted to the community, and assured PDP of massive support during the re-rurn in the community.
The party leadership and the senatorial chairman, Takeme also received some decampees from the opposition party APC.
Prominent leaders who were present at the visit are Hon. Chief Combolous Ikisa, Chairman of Burutu Local Government. Hon Godknows Angele, commissioner for housing, Amb. Shadrach Agedida, Chairman, Bursary/Scholarship Board, Delta State, Prince Emmanuel Amgbaduba, immediate past Commissioner of Oil and Gas, Delta State, Richard Tuedor, party coordinator Ward7, Mrs Felicia Oruna, former chair person Burutu Local Government Council, Hon. Godwin Edumogiren, Hon. Amasuomo Koffee and Hon. EKANPOU Enewaredideke, member Bursary/Scholarship Board.
Others, Hon. Lawson Ogei PDP vice chairman Burutu LGA, Hon Paul Kurugbe, Barr Isha Clark, Hon. Mrs. Georgina Evah, Former State PDP Women Leader. Hon. Ignatius Ziakegha, immediate past Adviser to the Governor of Delta State on Niger Delta Affairs/Braced Commission, Hon(Comr) Austin Ozobo, PDP Burutu chairmanship aspirant, Sunny Perekeme, Burutu LGA secretary, Chief Francis Bomiebi, Rt.
