Rights Activist, Mulade Celebrates Tinubu on Supreme Court Victory

Renowned Niger Delta activist and environmentalist Comrade (Chief) Mulade Sheriff has felicitated with President Bola Tinubu on his Supreme Court Victory.

Congress learnt that that the surpreme court on Thursday affirmed the victory of All Progressives Congress’ (APC) candidate at the February 25 poll.

The activist in a statement on Thursday, called on all candidates to accept the outcome of the judgment.

Mulade emphasised that the judgement reflects the wishes and aspirations of Nigerians and equally call on citizens to work with Mr. President to achieve his Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigerian people.

He said, “President Tinubu as a man of simplicity and sagacity with basic knowledge for good governance and development from his antecedents, as former Governor of Lagos State, the commercial nerve of Nigeria”.

The traditional chief, Ibe-sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom and a critical stakeholder in the Niger Delta agitation for development, appealed to other candidates to ‘accept the outcome and work with Mr President for the interest of all Nigerians and our dear Country.

He however, charged the President to run an all-inclusive government in order to sustain the existing peace across the nation towards attracting an enviable developments and builds Nigeria’s international reputation, irrespective of ethnic, political and religious affiliations.

“It is imperative to state that the election as come and gone, litigation as equally come and gone, now is the time to build bridges of reconciliation, heal wounds and embrace all aggrieved members and candidates who participated at the general elections for a better Nigeria and it is time to focus on good governance to attract development to every nooks and crannies of Nigeria, in line with the principles of true democracy,” he noted.
