Rivers ADC holds successful state assembly polls, declares Amos in Port Harcourt Constituency 2

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has held successful State Assembly polls in Rivers state on Thursday, June 2, 2022.

It was gathered that the party held Assembly Primary polls across the state to select candidates who would fly the party’s flags at the general elections on Thursday 2nd June, 2022.

However, the State House of Assembly primaries for Port Harcourt Constituency 2 was held at Abuloma Town Hall.

According to a source, Hon. John Amos Benjamin who was the party’s sole aspirant for the Port Harcourt Constituency 2 was elected unopposed.

Speaking to newsmen, Amos thanked the party’s leadership and the delegates for voting for him massively, noting that he would defeat other candidates participating in the 2023 general elections.

Amos told Congress correspondent that with the help of God and the teeming support from the party and electorates he will win the Port Harcourt Constituency 2 poll come 2023, maintaining that he would provide effective representation in the constituency.
