Russian forces bomb Ukrainian troops out of Lysychansk in Donbas

The Ukrainian forces have retreated out of its eastern city Lysychansk after being bombed by the Russian military on Thursday.

The city was reportedly recaptured by Ukrainian forces in its counteroffensive after the Russian forces encircled the town in its earlier invasion.

According to Ukrainian general staff, the Ukrainian military would be withdrawing from the city to save the troops considering the large enemy’s presence.

It was learned that there was tense fighting in Lysychansk city on Thursday, where the Ukrainian troops were bombed with large causalities.

Recall, Lysychansk is located in the Donbas region, one of Russia’s annexed cities in Ukraine.
