Multiple missile strikes have been recorded in Zaporizhzhia, Europe’s biggest nuclear plant in eastern Ukraine on Thursday.

Even though the town is occupied by Ukrainian forces, about 75% of swathes of land in the Donetsk region were still occupied by the Russian military.

Putin was accused of making efforts to seize Europe’s biggest nuclear plant in Zaporizhzhia in the Donetsk region.

There was a tense exchange of gunfire near the city between Ukrainian and Russian forces following a missile attack on a residential building around the nuclear plant, killing about 14 people, including a woman, civilians and 3years old baby while others were seriously wounded.

According to some foreign media, the nuclear plant came under serious attack a day after Russian President Vladimir Putin annexed the Donetsk region to be part of the Russian Federation, considering the plant as part of the Russian Federation.

The Ukrainian military had ordered residents around the plant to relocate to avoid being hit by Russian shelling, adding that all attempts to seize the nuclear plant would be repelled.
