Self-Acclaimed Activist, Harrison Gwanishu Faces Fresh Fraud Allegations, Demands Donation Online

A self-acclaimed Delta based human right activist, Harrison Gwanishu has been backlashed for fraud allegations and demanding for online donation.

This is coming after he pledged not to ever ask for any kind of donation online.

According to a post by the self- claimed activist and online philanthropist, Harrison Gwamnishu stated on 19th June that he would henceforth stop calling for online donation or fund raising for anybody.

“You will never see a post from me ANYWHERE seeking for FUND RAISING FOR ANYONE, he wrote.

“Anywhere you see it, don’t DONATE, It’s a SCAM.

“HENCEFORTH, DON’T DONATE TO ME OR MY NGO (BEHIND BARS).

“I will continue assisting with the little I have to those that deserve it on social media and of social”, he added.

However, Harrison seems not to be what he called himself, as he demanded millions from poor Nigerians on questionable projects.

In the recent development, Harrison wrote; “I sincerely appreciate you all for your words of encouragement and support. You have lifted my spirit so much and i am grateful, what can i do without you all? Thank you for the open and secret love that you have shown to me in this hard time.

“People are still calling and sourcing for means to support me, and with all humility i accept and appreciate your thoughts and move to support me.

” I was owing N110,000,000 and I have to clear off the debt, he stated.

It was gathered that the debt was from a failed business which was allegedly spent on his 2023 Delta State House of Assembly election campaign which he loss to his counterpart.

It was alleged that Harrison lured many to invest in a business in order to get double return after a perodof time, but failed to pay them their capital investment nor interest.

According to Richard Sheun Ogunjide who appeared to be one of those who invested into Harrison unknown investment, he wrote;

“Dear Mr Harrison Gwamnishu

“As agreed by you that, today being the 30th day of September 2023,is the deadline for the loan of 5million Naira, which i gave you on the 15th day of February 2022 in regards to the movie project you were to commence.

“As agreed and documented, the capital loan is to be paid with the monthly interest of 5%, which is N250,000.

“I have not received any payments from you tll date, as calculated from March 2022 the interest of 5% monthly is brought to the total of 4.5million adding to the capital of 5 million making a total of 9.5million. Having made much considerations, i asked you to wave the interest and pay back only the capital loan, of which you also agreed to.

“Today being 30/9/2023 (deadline) , as at 4:40pm Nigerian time,-I’m yet to receive my money (5million naira) from you. I look forward to getting my money before today ends”, he added.

Recall, Harrison Gwamnishu had earlier admitted of faking kidney disease so as to raise N7 million from Nigerians.

This had generated lots of reactions online, while many praise Harrison for been a voice of the people, many knocked him for spending donations for alleged humanitarian projects on his frivolous election campaign and complained he can’t be trusted with political office and public funds as he can’t account for money given to him for different projects.
