Shooting: Riverine Coalition Calls For Edo govt, military, Police, DSS Quick Intervention
By Stephen Asaba-ase
The Spokesman of the Coalition of Edo Riverine Communities, Comrade Daniel Ezekiel has raised alarm over the sudden gun attack on the peaceful abode of Inikorogha Community by one exiled notorious ex-agitator with his criminal proxies.
The rights activist has called on the governor of Edo State, His Excellency Godwin Obasiki, the military commander of Edo, AIG of Edo State and other sister agencies to immediately swung into action to deploy massive security personnel to the Inikorogha community to dislodge the looming threat on the community.
He said the community was under the criminal siege of the exiled fugitive for over 10 years, and was recently rescued, adding that the government of the state and the military should rise to the occasion to nip on the bud the recent uprising of the peaceful Abode, which is a deliberate evil act by the fleeing ex-agitator and his boys.
Speaking with newsmen, he said, “it is so shameful and barbaric in this 21st Century that an Ijaw youth still terrorising his own people, a heartless monster and a blood sucking demon with his criminal principalities are already in the wanted list”.
The estranged ex-agitator invaded Inikorogha Community with his criminal compradors from neighboring Communities for relatively two days, shooting sporadically, attacking and beaten up the peace loving people of Inikorogha.
Meanwhile, the residents had told the wanted ex-agitator that they were not going back to the Whims and Caprices of his Egyptian era of feudalism and criminality, however, irate agitator raised the community eye brows for two days ago by attacking and ransacking Inikorogha community with over 50 foot soldiers.
“However, we are calling and crying for the quick intervention of Mr President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, the Military, the Police, DSS and other Security Agencies to as a matter of urgency come to our rescue and flush this murderers, criminals in their numbers from our riverine communities.
“So as to restore sanity in our communities before abnormality, criminality and lawlessness become a norm”, he said.
