Skit: Comedian Cute Abiola’s Contemptuous Act Is Criminal, Punishable – NPF

Following the skits posted on social media by a comedian simply identified as Abudlgafar Abiola, also known s Cute Abiola, the Nigeria Police Force has vehemently condemned the contemptuous act displayed in the skits.

According to a release by Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relation Officer, Thursday, July 27, the skits directly disrespect and derogate portrayal of the police uniform.

Adejobi maintained that in as much law grants Nigerians the rights to enjoy their fundamental human rights, the same law prohibits an individual from rubbishing the police institution.

He stated that the contemptuous act by Abiola are not only offensive but also undermine the integrity and dignity of the men and women who wear the uniform in service of the nation.

However, Adejobi stated that Abiola will be investigated and prosecuted for his deliberate acts as the NPF had already warned skit makers and filmmakers to desist from descending its uniform
