SPORT EPL: He’s sluggish, can’t keep fit – Paul Scholes worries for Man Utd star

By Hannah Nathan, Warri

Manchester Joined legend, Paul Scholes accepts Raphael Varane’s legs are ‘looking lazy’ and fears the protector can’t stay in shape.

Varane’s structure has been problematic this season, while he has proactively missed a month of the mission because of injury.

The Frenchman was to blame for Kerem Akturkoglu’s balancer when he floated out wide and permitted a pass through his legs during Man Joined’s new Bosses Association 3-2 loss to Galatasaray.

Galatasaray enjoyed a 3-2 win which led to boos ringing around Old Trafford as the Reds suffered their sixth defeat in 10 matches so far this season. Erik ten Hag knows it’s not good enough and it represents our worst start to a campaign for 37 years

The previous Genuine Madrid star was then delayed to shut down Mauro Icardi before he chipped goalkeeper Andre Onana to score the champ.

Varane, who joined Man Joined from Genuine Madrid in 2021, showed up at Old Trafford as quite possibly one of the most enhanced players in world football.

I stress over Varane a piece, he has been one of the absolute best protectors around, in that equivalent kind at Genuine Madrid,” Scholes shared with Dynamite Sports.

“Truly disheartened. I don’t think they played that seriously. All the discussion before the game was that they couldn’t score objectives and there was an absence of objectives in the group.”
