Suspected assailants kill Ijaw youth in Delta community

A young Ijaw youth yet to be identified was killed by unknown gunmen in Jedo community, Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.

The deceased was said to be a resident of the community but was unfortunately killed by suspected assailants.

According to a source, the victim was declared missing some time in early March, but the body was found decayed in an uncompleted building on 27th March 2022.

The deceased was reportedly hailed from the Obotebe community in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

The family, however, is crying for justice, adding that the community and police authorities should investigate the incident and bring to book the perpetrators.
