Suspected cult clash has killed Mr Anthony Oreh, a Community leader on Thursday morning in Delta state.

The incident occurred on Thursday Sept 23, 2021 in Orhoakpor Community, in Ethiope East Local Government Area when he was attack by suspected cultists.

It was learnt that the late Mr Anthony Oreh was a Community leader and former vice president of the community.

The Community leader was reportedly killed when he tried to broker peace during an alleged cult attack on the vigilante chairman in the community.

An online video showed Oreh, bleeding profusely from a serious head injury before he died.

However, a dusk-to-dawn curfew has been imposed on the community following his death.

When contacted, the Delta state police command’d PPRO DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the incident.
