Suspected cultists shoot Ijaw youth leader in Ovwian Community

Suspected cultists have reportely shot an Ijaw youth leader, Comrade Ebulus Buku, in Ovwian Community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta state on new year Eve.The incident occurred when the Ijaw youth leader was attacked and shot on his head and legs by the cultists on Friday night along Ovwian Community roads.The attackers dispossessed the victim after shooting him, his money and mobile phones were stolen.The victim is currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital in Warri, Delta state.However, the family of the victim had called for justice, adding that the police authorities should investigate the incident, arrest and prosecute the suspects involved.
