Suspected robber attacks POS agent, escapes with 200.000 naira in Delta

A POS agent was robbed with the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Naira(N200,000.00) by a suspected robber along cele street off, Udu road, Udu Local Government area of Delta State on Saturday.

The incident occurred at 12pm on Saturday, when the suspected robber stormed the POS agent and escaped with his N200,000 naira.

It was gathered that the robber who came as if he wants to withdraw money, hypnotized the POS agent and before the victim could know, the robber escaped with a bag containing the said sum in the shop.

According to the source, the area had become notorious in robbery incidents in the recent times.

The victim who could not hide his grief bursts into tears as he began to call for help in view of bringing the culprit to book.

However, the police could not be reached at the time of filling this report.
