Tears flow as 13 wedding guests die in Rivers’ road crash

There is pandemonium in Rivers State as 13 weeding guests died in a ghastly road accident during the weekend.

It was gathered that the 13 persons died when they were travelling to Imo state to attend a traditional marriage ceremony.

The incident occurred during the weekend at Akpoku- Udufor community, Etche Local Government Area, Rivers State.

Source, said the Coaster bus which the victims were travelling with had collided with a heavy-duty truck at about 3:30 pm, causing the Coaster bus to somersault multiple times.

It was learnt that a younger brother of the groom was among the deceased persons.

An eyewitness, Chibuike said 11 of the victims died on the spot, while the other two passed away at the point of being rushed to the hospital.
