Tragedy as gas explosion kills pastor, wife, other in Delta

Tragedy struck as a gas explosion killed the representative of the Presidents-General of Urhobo Kingdoms Forum, Pastor Adese Onos, his wife and house help in Delta State.

The incident reportedly happened on Thursday at Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area.

Newsmen earlier reported that the explosion injured Pastor Onos, his wife and their housemaid at their Orogun residence.

According to the earlier report, they were rushed to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), Benin City, Edo State, for treatment.

However, following the serious impacts of the explosion and burnt he (Pastor Onos) died while undergoing treatment.

Meantime, the report also said the housemaid later died on Saturday, and the cleric’s wife died on Sunday following the severe injuries sustained in the gas explosion.

The Chairman of the Forum of Presidents General in Urhobo Nation, Chief Godwin Notoma, confirmed the death.

President General of Urhobo Pastors described the death of the representative of the president general of Orogun Kingdom as a terrible loss to the forum.
