Tragedy as Tanker explosion rocks Oyo

A petrol tanker exploded in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at around 4:40 pm, burning five vehicles and three motorcycles to ashes.

The affected vehicles include two articulated trucks, one 18-seater bus, and two small commercial cabs, as well as three motorcycles.

The explosion occurred near the Iyana-Ajia bridge on the Ibadan-Ife Express road, and the tanker was still burning at the time of the report.
