The former minister of Education, Chief Kenneth Gbagi has been picked as the SDP governorship flagbearer in Delta state on Wednesday.
He reportedly emerged as the party’s governorship standard-bearer in the guber primary election of the party held at the Ughelli Kingdom Hall, Delta State.
It would be recalled that the former minister who was a leading governorship aspirant in PDP withdrew from the race some days to the party’s governorship primary election in Delta state.
The former minister emerged as the party’s flagbearer in a consensus voice vote by delegates being the sole aspirant of the party.
It was gathered that Gbagi and his supporters reportedly dumped PDP for SDP after a fallout with governor Okowa on issues of anointed aspirant.
