2023: Bala emerges PDP governorship flagbearer in Bauchi

Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed has clinched the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Bauchi State governorship ticket to contest for second term bid in the state.

He was adopted by the whole 646 delegates being the sole aspirant in the party guber race on Saturday.

The Returning Officer who declared the results said Bala Mohammed won the party’s gubernatorial ticket after polling a total of 646 votes out of the 650 accredited delegates who voted.

“By the powers conferred on me by the constitution of the PDP, I hereby declare Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir as the winner of the PDP gubernatorial ticket for the 2023 General elections,” he added.
