Two persons allegedly killed in Bomadi

About two persons have been killed and several others were injured in an alleged clash between vigilante and some youths in Bomadi community, Delta state.

The incident reportely occurred on Saturday when a vigilante member allegedly shot a youth in the community in an ensuring misunderstanding.

Source said the boy died instantly and this provoked youths in the community to revolt and continue destruction of property in the community on Sunday.

It was gathered that several houses assumed to be family houses of the vigilante member who shot the victim have been burnt down and several others had been allegedly injured by the revolting youths.

It was also learnt that another suspected youth involved in the riot was allegedly shot.
