Ughelli submerged by heavy rain

Residents in Ughelli community in Afiesere road junction by Dumex road, Akpomedaye street end, Onoharhigho/Makolomi street, Oghenewveta street near Marvel school have cried out over the heavy flood caused by Saturday rain.

Our freelancer who moved round the community reports that the flood was heavy and some houses, shops roads were submerged.

He said in some of the roads motorists, commuters and pedestals were stranded due to the heavy flooding.

According to our freelancer, residents appealed to governor Okowa and resident politicians to fix bad roads and construct good drainage system in the community and its environs.
