Ukraine gives potassium iodine to citizens to prevent possible nuclear escalation

Following the nuclear nukes escalation threats, Kyiv has said it would give potassium iodide pills to residents to stop the radiation effects.

It was learned that the potassium iodine pills were capable of blocking the absorption of harmful radiation by people who may be likely affected.

According to Kyiv, the pills would be given to also soldiers who are on the battlefield to avoid being contaminated and possibly killed.

Zelensky, the president of Ukraine had reassured citizens that the battle of Russian military assault must be stopped in Ukraine.

According to Western media reports, the Ukrainian military had made significant improvements in its counteroffensive, liberating dozens of cities earlier captured by the Russian forces.
