Urhobocha killed Self – David Alleged

A 35-year-old man, identified as Emmanuel Urhobocha has been alleged to have died by suicide in his apartment in Alafia Street at Sango-Ota, located in the Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The command’s spokesperson, Odutola Omolola, made this known to Journalist that Mr Obabiyi David, who was identified as his roommate had gone to the Sango-Ota Police Division to report that his roommate was acting abnormal.

Meanwhile, David stressed that Urhobocha was behaving strange on that day of the incident, that the deceased had attacked him with a knife at one point and sustained some injuries but managed to escape the assault,” Odutola stated.

However, the Sango-Ota Police division sent some police officers for investigation regarding the alleged assault on his friend, but upon arrival, they saw the apartment safely locked from the inside.

After several attempts to force the door open, the police later gained entry and found the suspect lying lifeless, face down in the apartment.

Odutola said, “He was found dead in the room with a container of insecticide found next to his body.

“He was promptly taken to an hospital within for medical diagnosis, but the attending doctor confirmed him dead. His body has been placed in the morgue for an autopsy, and the incident remains under investigation.”
