The United States has offered to revealed the identity of Boko Haram sponsors in Nigeria.
But since this offer was made, there has not been any readiness shown by the Nigerian government to embrace it.
Congress recalled that the U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Beth Leonard, had during a round-table meeting on U.S.-Nigeria military cooperation with newsmen in Abuja, last Monday night, declared that her country was very eager to partner with Nigeria on identifying Boko Haram sponsors.
However, the move has caused tension in some quarters in the country, and it appeared that Nigerian government was adamant because heads will roll when the process commences.
This has made citizens in the country to have accused Buhari’s administration of pampering terror agents in the country.
