Ward-to-ward campaigns: Burutu PDP appreciates members for massive turnouts

The Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State has applauded the people of the LGA and members of the party for their massive turnouts and unparalleled hospitality shown during the just concluded ward-to-ward campaigns of the party in the LGA.

The campaign which started from Ogulagha ward 11 in Burutu North and ended in Tamigbe ward 2 in Burutu South witnessed a massive crowd that coloured with fanfare dovetailing into voters sensitization and other activities such as cultural dance, traditional wrestling, canoe race, and among others.

This was disclosed to Congress correspondent in a statement by the deputy director of the campaign’s media committee, Mr. Emmanuel Akpule on Friday.

The statement reads, “This is a pointer that Burutu is PDP and PDP is Burutu.”

The party while thanking members and residents of Burutu for their support urged members and supporters to come out en mass to vote for all candidates of the party come the 2023 general elections.
