2023: PDP ends ward-to-ward campaigns in Burutu

The Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta state ended its three days ward-to-ward campaigns at Tamigbe ward 2 on Thursday.

The campaigns which commenced on Monday were massively attended by leaders, stakeholders, and members of the party.

The local government campaigns council which was led by Hon. Godknows Angele, chairman of the LGA council earlier visited Ndoro ward 6, Ojobo ward 5, and Torugbebe ward 1 before ending the campaigns at Tamigbe 2 on Thursday.

The party at Tamigbe ward 2 received over 50 decampees from the All Progressives Congress, APC. The defectors were received by the Party’s senatorial chairman, Hon. Julius Takeme at Tamigbe community.

Congress gathered the party at various wards organized traditional dancing, drumming, and wrestling competitions to entertain the party’s faithful on Thursday.

The party leaders who spoke at the campaigns urged members of the public and supporters to vote for the party’s candidates such as Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi for House of Representatives, Burutu federal constituency, Pastor Michael Diden, PDP Delta South senatorial candidate, Hon. Asupa Forteta, PDP candidate for Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu North, Hon. Peres Oloye, PDP Candidate Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu South, Atiku/Okowa for presidents and Sheriff Oborevwori for governor, Delta state.

Among others who were at the grand finale of the ward-to-ward campaigns visit are, Rt. Hon. Solomon Funkekeme, Senior political adviser to the governor, Prince Emmanuel Amgbaduba, commissioner Oil and Gas, Wing commander P.Y Biakpara, Chairman Delta south PDP reconciliation/Peace committee, Hon. Daniel Mayuku, a former member of reps, Hon. Julius Takeme, PDP, Delta South chairman, Hon. JT government, Hon. Angele Godknows, Chairman Burutu Local Government Council, Dr. Shedrack Agediga, ED PRS Desopadec, Dr. Mike Loyibo, traditional prime minister of Tuomo Kingdom, Hon. Godwin Edumogiren, Hon. Paul Kurugbe, Mrs. Georgina Evah, EA to the governor, Chief Boro Opudu, Delta State Waterway/Land Security Committee, Hon. Agada, Hon. Koffee Amasuomo, Comrade Ozobo Austin, Emmanuel Akpule, and several others.
