Wayles felicitates Gov. Diri over ‘Governor of the year’ Independent newspaper award

Nigerian oil don and chairman of Wayles Group of Companies, High Chief Emonena Victor Wayles Egukawhore (JP), has felicitated with the Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri over the governor of the year Independent Newspaper award reposed on him.

The oil juggernaut expressed his warm and sincere congratulations to Senator Diri as he joined millions of Nigerians around the world to witness the award presentation.

According to him: “My dear brother, please accept our warmest and sincerest congratulations as my family and I join millions of Nigerians around the world to witness the presentation to you, as the award recipient of ‘Governor of the Year,’ by The Independent Newspaper.”

Wayles said he was not surprised over the governor’s feat of achievement, having witnessed his great performance.

“This award could not have gone to a more deserving recipient than you.
Looking at your hardwork, zeal and determination to make a difference in the lives of Bayelsans and the Ijaw nation, I am truly thrilled to see your efforts being acknowledged and validated.”

Chief Wayles, while reposing Confidence on him, urged the governor not to relent on his good works in the state and Ijaw nation.

“Please do not relent in your pursuit of excellence.
Best wishes for more successes in the future. Be assured that you have my full and complete confidence,” he added.
