Western Zone Poll: Derimo Declares For IYC Chairman, Picks Interest Form

Ahead of the forthcoming Ijaw Youth Council, IYC Western zone election, the outgoing Secretary of the IYC western zone, Comr Olu Derimon Omaghomi has purchased the Expression of Interest Form for the position of the chairman of council, western zone from the zonal electoral committee (ZECO) at Eliko hotel Warri Delta State on Friday.

Derimo was flanked by his campaign team when he visited the ZECO office to pick his nomination of interest form.

However, Derimo’s Declaration was accompanied with a echo of a great Joy which was a sign of the arrival of the expected one.

Speaking shortly, Derimo promised to advance Ijaw struggle and promote unity among Ijaw people when elected.

According to him, he would build capacity among youth, women and create more speaking space for Ijaws of the Western Zone when elected.
