Suspected Fulani beheads a resident in Benin

A suspected Fulani man identified as Aboki has beheaded a man yet to be identified in Benin city of Edo State on Saturday.

The incident reportedly occurred on Saturday when the suspect at- large suddenly beheaded the deceased over a minor disagreement.

The incident caused public outrage as the gory killing was described as barbaric and capable of inciting reprisal against the Hausa/Fulani community in the state.

The Edo state police PPRO, Mr Chidi Nwanbuzor when contacted could not respond as he was busy, adding that he would revert back later. But could not respond at the time of filing this report.
