CP presents cheques of 26.1m to families of deceased officers in Delta

The commissioner of police, Delta state CP Ari Muhammed Ali on behalf of the Inspector General of Police IGP Alkali Baba Usman, PSC+, FDC, NPM, CFR has presented cheques of
twenty-six million, one hundred and seventy thousand, seven hundred and sixty naira (N26,170,760) to seven families of deceased officers who died while in active service.

The cheques were issued to the next of kin of the seven deceased officers who were part of the IGP insurance welfare scheme.

The CP while presenting the cheques appreciated the gesture exhibited by the IGP as the cheques would in no small way, act as a boost to the families and also to let them know that though their loved ones are no more, the force did not forget their sacrifices.

Meanwhile, the beneficiaries thanked the IGP for his magnanimity, adding that the money given to them would be used judiciously.CP presents cheques of 26.1m to families of deceased officers in Delta
