Aborted Protests: Third Phase Amnesty Chair Ogidigba Salutes PAP Beneficiaries, Urges Delegates To Support Dr Otuaro Reforms

The leadership of the Amnesty delegates forum has hailed the decision of the United Ex-Agitators to boycott the planned protest scheduled for the 24th day of August 2026.

The group, in a statement by its chairman Gen Ogidigba Godstime Ogidigba described the move as a step in the right direction, while insisting on constructive engagement and dialogue amongst leaders as the solution to resolving pending issues.

He further urged all genuine Amnesty leaders and beneficiaries to support Chief Dennis Otuaro Reforms which he discribed as the only way to achieve the dividends and benefits of the presidential amnesty program.

The leader also used this medium to appeal to all aggrieved genuine Amnesty leaders to direct their grievance to the overall leader and the custodian of the presidential amnesty program High Chief Dr government Oweizide Ekpompolo AKA Tompolo for a round table meeting were all issues can be addressed and resolve amicably.

The Forum, also called on Ijaw leaders and stakeholders to rally support for High Chief Dr government Oweizide Ekpompolo, to ensure that the stability, peace and development of Niger Delta Region is sustained.
