PAP: Embrace Otuaro’s Reforms to Sustain, Expand Amnesty Program – Ogidigba Appeals to Delegates, Beneficiaries
By Monday Peters, Abuja
The National Chairman of Phase 3 of the Presidential Amnesty Program has called on all aggrieved, genuine ex-agitator leaders and beneficiaries to embrace and support the reforms being implemented under the leadership of Chief Dennis Otuaro.
In a statement released to the press on August 6, 2026, Gen. Ogidigba said Chief Dennis Otuaro is focused on building the next generation of intellectuals who will drive the Niger Delta Region to the next level.
He also acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of Niger Delta leaders who were instrumental to the proclamation of the Amnesty Program by the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua of blessed memory.
Ogidigba therefore urged genuine ex-agitator leaders and beneficiaries to make sacrifices to sustain and expand the program so it can accommodate more people.
He further called for support for the ongoing Leadership Training Program, as well as the proposed Vocational Training and Empowerment Programs, which he believes will significantly improve the livelihood of Amnesty delegates.
The National Chairman emphasized that Chief Dennis Otuaro’s achievements so far have brought peace, stability, and sustainable development to the Niger Delta Region.
