Anxiety in Oyo as youths protest over naira notes, fuel hoarding

Ahead of 22 days to the general elections, youths have taken to the streets of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Friday, to protest over the current state of the nation.

Nigerians have been groaning over the excruciating pains of fuel, new naira notes scarcity and epileptic power supply for weeks across the nation.

Following the hardship, concerned youths, armed with several placards, stormed the Iwo Road area of the state on Friday morning to register their grievances.

The protesters, however called on president Buhari and various state governors nation wide to address the current hardship to avoid a nation wide protest.
