Breaking: Fire guts Petrol tanker in Warri/Ughelli expressways

A petroleum tanker has allegedly gutted fire in East-West road at Agbarho community section on Friday morning.

It was learnt that the incident allegedly occurred when the tanker veered off the road and slumped over and immediately ignite fire.

A source said travellers, commuters and motorists were stranded as movement had been completely restricted on the road.

According to the source, the state fire service operatives were already on ground fighting to put off the fire.

The source could not disclose casualty figure, as the incident was described as destructive.

However, no official comment about the incident from relevant authorities at the time of filing this report.
