Business magnate Emedogie, buried amidst tears in Delta

OLOMU – The popular Warri based businessman, Late Mr Shelly Ekuyovwe Emadogie was buried amidst tears during the weekend at his home town, Akperhe Olomu in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State as Engr. Isaac Omafuaire called for unity amongst the youths.

It was learnt Emadogie who died at 64 years, survived by a wife, three children and many relations.

Rev. Reuben Govina, President of Agape Gospel Mission while delivering the sermon at Akperhe Primary School Playground, admonished guests at the funeral to live a Godly life that would grant them inheritance in heaven after their sojourn on Earth.

The gospel preacher, reiterated the need for all humans to cautiously live their lives to please God and provide service to humanity with the knowledge that a day would come when they would depart from the Earth to face the judgement of God.

Ovie Emedogie while reading the biography of his late father, noted that his father was a socialite who accommodated and accorded respect to anyone that came across his path while on earth.

The interment was done at his compound in Akperhe Olomu before entertainment of guests was done at Akperhe Olomu Primary School.

The occasion afforded Akperhe elites and youths the opportunity to mingle with Engr. Isaac Omafuaire in charge of entertainment as Prof. David Akperhe, Senior Orator of Nigeria mesmerized the audience with his great oratory prowess.

Omafuaire a COREN certified Engineer and younger cousin of Emedogie used the opportunity to call on youths of the community to remain dedicated to hardwork and close ranks with the elites to ensure a greater future.

He also gave immediate support to some of the needy youths with promise for more.

Julius Atanawhemera Esq, younger brother of Emedogie expressed his pleasure at the turnout and thanked all who attended the funeral.

Among personalities who graced the occasion include, Olorogun Joe Unuame, Olorogun Jerome Omoroh, Barr Meshach Ituku, Business mogul, Moses Okpare, Engr. Endurance, Engr. Charles Esiso and Ochuko Ojue.

Others were Engr. Oke Akpomudje, Otovo Omafuaire, Barr Gulf Omoroh, Barr. Akpokona Omafuaire, members of the Olomu lawyers forum amongst others.
