Chief Aribogha Laid To Rest Amid Tears In Ogbe-Ijoh

The ancient Ogbe-Ijoh community in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta stand still as a Chief Johnny Aribogha, JP was laid to rest amid tears following his demise.

The funeral rites which was held on Friday had the presence of personalities and leaders across Niger Delta region including prominent government functionaries.

Chief Aribogha until his death was a community leader and a voice to the marginalised oil producing communities in Delta State.

Some of the personalities include RT. Hon. Dennis Emomotimi Guwor, Speaker Delta State House of Assembly, Chief Tunde Smooth, Bolouwei of Obotete Kingdom, Chief Favour Izoukumor, Chairman NDDC, Chief Clement Moni, Hon. Dan Yingi, former House of Assembly Member, Double Chief Ayiri Emami, Hon. Denbo Dembofa, the Alaowei of Warri, Chief Frank Omare, Director general, Special Duties, Office of the Delta State Governor, Amb. Tom Willy Ebiakpo, Chief David Omare, Chief Barrister Smooth, Chief Engr.Sam Oyimi, Alex Agbenes Money, Barr. Sunny (Esq), Comrade Arex Akemetubo, CEO Waffi Tv and others numerous to mention.

However, late Chief Aribogha was described as a leader par excellence, and a man with many achievements.

In a press briefing, Barr. Clarkson Aribogha (JP) thanked leaders and well wishers who had contributed financially and otherwise to make the funeral service a great success.
