Confab unveils plan to hold rights sensitization symposium Oct 1

A Civil Rights Movement, the Conference for the Actualization of Human Rights, (CAHR), popularly known as Confab has said it would convey a sensitization symposium on citizen’s rights and responsibilities on October 1,2021 to mark Nigeria at 61.

A statement released by the National Secretariat which was officially signed by the national secretary, Comrade Ozobo Austin said educating citizens on the benefits of active corporate governance, citizen’s rights and responsibilities was part of the mission and objectives of the group.

The Secretariat said its desire to hold the symposium was to educate citizens on good governance, citizen’s rights and responsibilities as such are very demanding among citizens in Nigeria society.

According to the statement, the theme of the program would be Nigeria @61: “The need for good governance”, and the keynote speaker would be anchoring on: Active Corporate Governance, citizen’s rights and responsibilities. The venue would be at Ebrumede multipurpose hall and the time will by 10am prompt.

Ozobo said the program would be explosive as several personalities are expected in attendance.
