Delta community appoints GbaramatuVoice Managing Editor, Enaibo as chairman Bobougbene Development C’ttee

The ancient Bobougbene community in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State has appointed Mr Asiayei Enaibo GbaramatuVoice Managing Editor, popularly known as Talking Drum as chairman of a newly created Bobougbene Development Committee (BDC).
The appointment was done at the community general meeting presided over by the eldest man (Amakosu-owei) PA. Asiayei Zaiky rtd Nigeria Police officer in the community playground, in order to mann the affairs of the community in terms of development, on February 1, 2024.
Others that were also appointed alongside are; Mr. Godwin Oyas Waya, Secretary, Mr. Enoch Arukazi, Treasurer, and Mr. Destiny Coleman Polobiri, member.
In response, Enaibo thanked the community for the responsibility bestowed on him, while promising to do his best.
He further emphasised, ” I assure you of my willingness to work with the community chairman and executives to address critical development plans and road map to urbanise Bobougbene community, collaborating with other leaders and other well meaning Ijaw sons to ensure Bobougbene becomes a well known community and to bring in development that will assist the humanity.
His words, “Priority challenges will be addressed with top government officials to make sure that social amenities, big or small, will be attracted.
